September 11, 2008
Gordon Brown, announced today that he was pushing £910b into helping people with soaring gas and electricity prices. Part of the measures to help households include grants and funding to have loft and cavity wall insulation installed in homes across the UK. Mercia Sales have been working with a number of companies in the Midlands to offer free surveys for loft and cavity wall insulation. Homeowners in Warwickshire (Alcester, Atherstone, Bedworth, Bulkington, Coleshill, Henley-in-Arden, Kenilworth, Kingsbury, Leamington Spa, Nuneaton, Polesworth, Rugby, Shipston-on-Stour, Southam, Stratford-upon-Avon, Studley, Warwick, Wellesbourne and Whitnash) can all benefit from funding for loft and/or cavity wall insulation. Those over 70 years of age or on a qualifying benefit can have their property insulated for free. Homeowners that don’t fall into either of these categories still get a government grant, just for less of an amount. For more information on government grants in the Warwickshire area, email your name, full address including postcode and contact telephone number to insulation@merciasales.co.uk and we will make contact with you.
